Next generation of artists showcase their talent
Edinburgh College of Art is set to celebrate the work of more than 80 graduating artists next
month as part of the Postgraduate Degree Show.
From 17-25 August, the College’s Evolution House will transform into a treasure trove of
innovative designs, intricate artworks and inspiring ideas from postgraduate students. The
Masters of Contemporary Art will also exhibit in the ECA Main Building on Lauriston Place
and The Masters of Architectural and Urban Design will exhibit in Minto House on
Chambers Street.
A comprehensive range of work will go on display – including architectural designs,
contemporary art, product design, textiles, jewellery and silversmithing, animation,
illustration and interior design.
Previous degree shows have launched the careers of BAFTA and Turner Prize winners.
The show is free and is open 10am-5pm, 17-25 August. The Masters of Contemporary Art
show is in Room C19 of the College’s Main Building on Lauriston Place. The Masters of
Architectural and Urban Design will exhibit in Minto House on Chambers Street. All other
exhibitions are in Evolution House, 78 Westport.
