New ceramics by
Members of London Potters
at the Menier Gallery
Hot on the heels of London Craft Week, London Potters is delighted to present
[fifteen], an exhibition of ceramic works by 15 selected members of London Pot-
ters.
The exhibition is staged on the spacious ground floor of the Menier Gallery, part of
the historic Menier Chocolate Factory, and celebrates the eclectic nature and the
wealth of expressions of ceramic art.
The rich variety of styles and the creativity and competence in execution make
this show a must for anybody who is interested in contemporary Studio Ceramics.
Highlights from the show include the abstract assemblages by Stathis Dimitriadis, a
finalist in the 2016 Broomhill National Sculpture Prize; colourful marine life in-
spires the intricate porcelain forms by Delfina Emmanuel and textured ceramic fish
are combined in vibrant panels by Rafael Atencia, BA in Ceramic Art from Central
St.Martin.
Nici Ruggiero will be unveiling her new naked-raku wall hangings - part of her LUNA
series - and Norman Yap will launch his new totemic forms comprising thrown and
assembled components.
Emerging new talent Lise Herud Braten, a London based Norwegian ceramicist,
presents a body of work inspired by the palette of colours and textures of nature.
