Press Release
Godalming and Headley Artists exhibit at Guildford House Gallery 24 February to 17 March 2007
Godalming and Headley Artists, along with their tutor, Christopher Cole will be exhibiting at Guildford House Gallery for the first time from 24 February to 17 March 2007. The exhibition will include work from a diverse group of highly talented artists, both amateur and semi-professional. All work will be for sale.
The original group members joined Christopher Cole’s Art Group in the late 1980s, and over the years have developed their talents with watercolour, pastels and acrylics. Their first exhibition, back in 1991, exhibited only to friends and family, but its success inspired the group of artists to hold an annual exhibition.
Since then, Godalming and Headley Artists have exhibited at Godalming Museum and the Harvey Road Gallery, but with growing numbers a larger venue was needed, and Guildford House Gallery chosen.
Christopher Cole will give a talk and demonstration on Winter Landscapes at 1pm on Thursday 1 March 2007 in the Brew House. Places for this demonstration are free, but space is limited, so early booking is essential. You can call 01483 444742 for further details or to book, or visit www.guildfordhouse.co.uk where you can book online.
