Yggdrasil at the Jade

May 1st sees a new collaboration between Sandra Higgins Fine
Art and SE1 Gallery near London
Bridge, to show the lyrically
expressive and abundantly colourful paintings of Pete Hoida. Hoida belongs to
the painterly canon promulgated by Patrick Heron, and his not-so-abstract
abstracts evoke the landscape of rural Gloucestershire where he lives. His
works, Morpheus' Cloud-ledger and Llantibes, which grace the walls of
the newly refurbished Almeida
restaurant in Islington have generated much favourable comment.
