Exploring the space between look and knowing - figures caught mid-thought, cities half dissolved memory. Working in monochrome photography, Kouznetsova layers illusion and reality until the boundary between them softens. Philip Williams: Child’s Play. Nov 6-19. Paintings, prints and objects by Highgate based artist Philip Williams. His works interpret widely recognisable artistic imagery to present a refreshing, often child-like take on the common tropes. Combining a variety of painting conventions and techniques his works offer a likely re-imagining of familiar artistic traditions.
