GALLERIES AUGUST 10 MAP 17 ENGLAND THAMES VALLEY, BUCKS & HERTS RICHER ART I know of no other Art Fair like Art in Action. Every July it opens up to inspire visitors with an enorm- ous repertoire of demonstrations by artists demystifying the skills needed to create work using calli- graphy, printmaking, drawing, ill- ustration, glass, painting, sculp- ture, textiles and woodwork. Started in 1977 with volunteers from The School of Economic Science, where spiritual and pra- ctical knowledge informs parti- cipants how to lead richer, useful lives in accordance with natural law, it is a living testament to the centre's philosophy and econo- mics – which has a resonance in a financial crisis.
