Boardman. It is in fact their third show together at Medici (I missed out on the first two) and it works nicely, Lombardi’s spare, restrained, bold treatment ofher striking subject matter being well complemented by the vigour, hu- mour and unfussy surfaces of Boardman’s pieces which seem, at times, to have bobbed straight out ofan Aesop fable!
