With judges of the calibre of Catherine Lampert, Gavin Turk and Francis Hodgson, a submission policy which now encompases photography and £40,000 of prize money, it fills a gap in the market, taking on, among other things, the role the Hunting Prize used to occupy. Isn’t it about time now that its dynamic local colleague Pallant House considered giving the whole show a more spacious home in its handsome, stylish premises on the other side of town?
