Subjects range from apocalyptic revelations and Herculean myths, to rural idylls and introspective self-portraits. Through the revealing power of visual metaphor and symbolism Flockhart’s paintings can unveil the metaphysical reality of our fears and desires that is lurking behind the turbulent events of our contemporary world.
