Further info: www.vam.ac.uk t 020 7942 2000 Frederic, Lord Leighton ‘Study for Flaming June’ at Leighton House One of London's more eccentric cultural experiences, that great shrine to High Victorian taste, Leighton House Museum is also currently host to a remarkable loan of one of the world's finest private collections of Pre-Raphaelite and 19th C. Art, the John Schaeffer Collection. Dutch-born but with a successful business in Australia, Schaeffer's is an unusual pedigree for such a collector, but his taste and judgement is immaculate and well-informed with great examples across the board, from Holman Hunt and J.W. Waterhouse to Watts and Leighton himself. Not to be missed in this setting . . . NU
