All this while painting, on a prolific scale, the vibrant and colourful city and landscapes that surround him and make up the core of his work. With its very high pitched colour and semi-abstract approach, Hill’s distinctive technique, which depends on ‘washing’ raw oil paint on to the canvas with white spirit, certainly attracts the buyers.
