It has, over that time done a huge amount to promote Modern British art whose stock, with Laura Knight and Epstein shows currently at the National Portrait Gallery, Caulfield at Tate Modern and Lowry at Tate Britain, First World War Slade artists at Dulwich and WilliamScott’s centenary exhibitions around the country, has perhaps never stood higher. And the Contemporary representation isn’t bad either! 6 9 7 5 8 10 1 4 3 2 11-15 September 2013, Royal College of Art
