This was at a reception in the Threadneedle Space at the Mall Galleries on 3 December, just two days before Chancellor George Osborne, in his Autumn Statement, announced £30m of support towards the Joanna Lumley- inspired, Heatherwick-designed Garden Bridge over the Thames.
