It has won her a remarkable following and considerable critical success, culminating last year in winning First Prize in the Lynn Painter Stainers’ Prize, but success does not seem to have undermined the quiet, critical integrity of the work as this latest show at the Russell Gallery (map 17) makes plain, her views of London parks especially revealing of the sensitivity of her technique to the particularities of London light.
