Celebrating its 22nd year, the successful formula continues, with the doors open to some (albeit carefully selected) 200 makers, both established artists and new talent, which gives the whole thing a creative freshness and buzz. The result is a rich mix of exhibits ranging from the domestic to the sculptural, tiny to monumental, traditional to cutting edge. And the location is also something to highlight – Hatfield House in Hertfordshire with its delightful Jacobean gardens where the marquees are set up, all makes for a very tempting day out for serious ceramics collectors and non- specialists alike.
