Witha long standing and distinguished background in teaching drawing at Camberwell and a masters in computing and design at Middlesex, she comes to the subject with some authority and experience and it is interesting to hear her talk of there being “not enoughspit” in contemporary art. By which, she means “plentiful solutions, permutations galore but not enoughrisk” and goes on to develop this idea with “immediacy and uncertainty and diving into unknown waters.” Her latest show, 'Scape’ at L inden Hall Studio, uses computer generated forms to create images – weightless, gridded globes – that coruscate with insistent surface energy.
