Guy Noble , the Art Curator for UCLHArts and Heritage says: We are delighted to be showcasing Lydia Bauman’s stunning paintings within the hospital. The paintings’ scale, vibrancy and subject matter of familiar landscapes will be a wonderful distraction and soothing balm from the stressors and anxieties of being within the hospital. Research shows that views of nature assist in the recovery of patients and can shorten patient stays. These paintings will bring great respite to all who encounter them.
