The Winter Review featuring The Royal Academy Schools takes place between the 10^th December until the 6^th January 2006.

 

A special feature of this show will be the exhibition of a limited edition giclee print titled, 'Marazion Moment I (Melanie)', by Vaughan Warren Royal Academy Schools. This print appears in the new film entitled, 'Keeping Mum' released on December 2^nd at cinemas nationwide. A British comedy starring Rowan Atkinson, Kirsten Scott-Thomas, Patrick Swazye and Maggie Smith. The work is also available on www.thepenzanceartgallery.com which is part of The Penzance Art Gallery's highly successful International e-commerce strategy.

 

The work the Penzance Art Gallery represents is an expression of the tradition of painting in Cornwall and a response to the influence of the area upon contemporary British painting, sculpture,photography and film.
